I loved this book, I even surprised myself with how quickly I finished reading it, given its 800+ pages.
It's a big book, but if you are into high fantasy, it's definitely worth the read.
I cannot fault the writing, the world-building is amazing, and while the pace is slower at the beginning as we get introduced to the people, places, cultures, religions, and history, things pick up as the story goes on.
I really enjoyed how each of the four POV characters had their own unique and interesting backstories, and it was exciting to read, wondering when their paths would cross, and when they finally did, it did not disappoint.
I know there's a prequel and talks of a sequel, but I really love how The Priory of the Orange Tree stands on its own with a complete story.
And there are DRAGONS!
