Um wow??? I cannot believe it has taken me THIS long to read this book????
What an engaging and intricate story. I know a lot of books can be described as having unique magic systems, but this really is unique. I’ve never seen a concept like this and it’s executed so well!!
Every page had me gripped, the nightmare almost feeling like a subplot, with what turned out to be his own agenda, alongside the plot going on with Elspeth and the main characters.
I honestly did not expect to be as immersed in this world as I became and I’m SO so glad I have book two on hand to start immediately.
