Anna O by Matthew Blake

4.0

Given I'm fascinated with how the mind works, this was a logical buy for me.

Anna O is found asleep in a cabin with a bloodied knife in her hand and her two best friends are dead. She stays asleep for 4 years until Ben, (psychologist specialising in sleep disorders) is able to rouse her from her sleep and back to a conscious state.

The question remains, was Anna O conscious or sleep walking when the murders took place and if it's the latter, can she be trialled for murder?

As the story unfolds we come to realise nothing is what it appears to be.

I enjoyed the concept of this book, it was different and intriguing. My only criticism was that it was 50-100 pages too long. If you are a fan of psychological thrillers, I'd give it a go.
