I feel like I should love this more, I know I usually would love this more. But I somehow don't.

I'm still arranging my thoughts on this book, it's definitely a book that makes you think and reflect. As someone who prefers characters over plot, I was surprised I didn't love this one more.

I didn't feel connected at all to the characters, not Regan, not Aldo. I didn't like Regan as a person, she's not bad, I just know I won't get along well with her. So by half-way, I was indifferent towards Aldo and disliking Regan a lot. But even with all of this, there's parts of this book that I deeply relate to. Regan's thoughts & others' words to her especially hits home. Her insecurities, her doubts.

The writing was beautifully raw, but I felt like I was missing important pieces. The third end of the book, everything Regan does was centered on Sex. I am someone who doesn't like this. This madr me question, do they even love each other? Honestly I couldn't tell. Their chemistry was shallow at this point. I liked their earlier conversations better.
