Crew is trying to recover and be the best dad he can be to his twin daughters after a traumatic work event.  A summer at his uncle’s house in Redemption sounds like the perfect getaway.  Tennyson is renting the small cottage on his uncle’s property. Crew immediately picks up on Tennyson's fear and knows she is hiding something.  The pair are drawn to each other.  A summer fling may be the thing they need to heal.

This book is full of all the feelings. I wanted to devour it but I also wanted to savor all the warmth. The characters warmed my heart.  The relationships are cute, funny, loving, and supportive.  There is plenty of chemistry between Tenny and Crew.  I loved the way their relationship was based on an authentic connection and it felt like a natural progression. I also enjoyed the family relationships.  Crew’s daughters, Abby and Paige brought a huge smile to my face and their relationship with Tenny tug on the heart strings.

This single dad romance has the small town vibes we love, a dose of forced proximity, and touch of suspense. It was well-written. I thought I knew what was going to happen, but I was wrong.
