Honestly there isn’t anything particularly wrong with this book, but it just felt like a very standard murder mystery. There wasn’t really anything that made it stand out to me. They’ve also set this book up to be a part of a series by leaving little loose ends here and there but honestly this feels like a standalone. I don’t have any unanswered questions that make me desperate to read a sequel. But this is a decent read, it’s well written and the mystery was good, I just feel like I’ve read so many like it.
