Gahhh! I was not sure how I was going to feel about the story after loving Lily so much, however, I love Violet even more (which I did not think was possible!!). This story follows Violet and Xavier who were high school sweethearts, but broke up as many high schoolers do.

This book had me screaming and kicking my feet because the tension was so beautifully done. What I love the most is that this love story felt so so real and life like. Violet and Xavier are not stuck living in the past like high schoolers, but both have grown up and have become such lovely adults and humans. I really wanted to just be with Violet and Xavier forever. Xavier is EVERYTHINGGGGGGG to me. He's perfect. He's sexy, and grown, and emotionally aware and attentive. And Violet is sometimes in her head, but means well. I love a second chance romance that makes sense! I really enjoyed this book! It had all the things I loved - big city girl, high school romance revisited, fake marriage to real dating pipeline - I loved the writing, the characters, the cross over of the Greene Sisters! I even loved the set up for Iris's story!! All in all I really enjoyed this one, it was a quick and easy read.

My only complaint is when there was a miscommunication between Violet and Xavier, I just wish they couldve figured it out sooner. BUT it still made for a great story :)
