I was gifted a copy of this book as part of Coundon Library Book Club.

This is not my usual read. I was actually surprised with how much I enjoyed it.

I knew little about the event prior to reading this. I did get a little muddled with names at times.

it was well written and drew out empathy.

I would usually avoid true life stories, but I am glad I read this.
