Demons Do It Better by Louisa Masters
3.0
This was my first book by Louisa Masters. I will certainly be reading/listening to more of her books.
The supernatural world was nicely constructed, and Sam's character was interesting to get to know. The one reason I tend to avoid reading first person storytelling is that I like to see the perspectives of more than just the main character. I really wanted to know Gideon a bit better. This book is part of a series so hopefully, I will get the chance eventually.
The plot lays down the groundwork for a very interesting social dilemma. I am interested in how this story evolves throughout the series.
The narration was nicely performed, and the character voices were distinct.
