Stay Sexy & Don't Get Murdered: The Definitive How-To Guide
by Georgia Hardstark, Karen Kilgariff
I don't know what I expected, but this book was, indeed, like the podcast. Okay, so not the murders part but more of the personal talk part, which, I believe, is the real reason the podcast took off. We can argue over whether or not true crime and comedy should be paired, but the end result was a podcast that made both Karen and Georgia vulnerable, and that vulnerability is what all of us listeners could relate to.
Expect a lot more personal info and some great fan art. I'm especially in love with Karen's writing style. Her section on Latchkey kids was just. . . something. She really, really makes her mother come alive, too.
