I rated the overall series 4.5 actually..just a little short of the SoC duology, but GR doesnt have the half rating yet..so here itll be 5 :)
I actually binge read the whole series! It had me hooked from the start! Now Im ready for the Netflix adaptation! Yay..
I know it doesnt completely match up to the SoC duology, but there were still a lot of awesome characters and a very interesting story line in this trilogy. The first book and the final book are complete opposites and I did question my feelings for the darkling many a times. What an amazingly written villain! I wish there was more of a backstory for this hard to hate, evil villain :)
The ending seemed nicely wrapped up though. I couldnt have thought of a better ending, however, I did want some kind of redemption arc for the Darkling I guess?
