Kitty Hart is an instagram famous cat-sitter also known as the Kitty Whisperer. Her newest client is Miles Thorn who asked Kitty to take care of his mom’s cat, Prince Francis. They get off on the wrong foot almost immediately as Miles is clearly not a cat person. As they begin to spend time together and get to know each other, sparks begin to fly.
Helena Hunting does a fabulous job weaving in more emotional and complex topics (past death of a sibling and of a parent, parent with dementia, grief, and anxiety) in a way that handles them with such care. I loved how Kitty and Miles were so kind and patient in supporting each other through their grief and had amazing chemistry - they were an all around great couple. I’m not a cat person (sorry to those who are) but I know this book will bring so much joy to all the cat lovers out there.
