I have to say, I was rather disappointed by the stories as they were quite limited by the fact that they were written in the Victorian period. I grew kind of accustomed to the 21st century freedom that Mark Gatiss and Stephen Moffatt had to play with, and I guess I found the tales to be a little more simplistic. They were, however, a lot of fun, and I would like to read some of the earlier and longer tales.
