I enjoyed this, though I found the middle of the book was a bit of a slog, and some characters I appreciated less than others, like Broad, Leo, and Vick. Broad in particular could have been cut from the book without much of a loss.

Still, the end of the book made up for it with what I found to be a very satisfying conclusion to the series. Overall the book felt about average for Joe Abercrombie, but he's an excellent writer so that's hardly a bad thing.
