Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

5.0

I enjoyed this more than the first book! I teared up twice—once when she discovered just how many people were actually behind her, supporting her in her fight against the Darkling (don’t want to say more than that) and of course during a heartfelt scene with her and Mal. Alina does frustrate me, but I think that’s probably what makes her such a great (almost human) character. Excited to read the third book after this!
