Extant is a young adult sci-fi set in present-day Hampton Roads, VA. A group of friends (Natalie, Tawney, Leo, Owen, and Brant) are enjoying a day in Williamsburg together when disaster strikes at the Naval Base in Norfolk. Their world gets turned upside down when they're forced to be on the run while learning how to use their newfound abilities. Along the way, they must question everything they've ever known.
