The Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan

3.0

3.5. Cute read. I really wish the author developed Carmen a bit more outside of the relationship with her nieces/nephew. There was definitely more room for her to have a proper resolution with Sofia, and to realize that her comparing herself to her older sister (and essentially changing the whole course of her life because of it) was needless.
Spoiler Additionally, since Oke was her romantic interest at the end, I feel like Cogan didn't give enough time for that to develop given how much time was spent on Carmen and Blair. Also, didn't understand the subplot given to Mr. McCredie and his true heritage. Don't think it added anything to the story.
