This book is a super sweet story of a small town mayor, Beckett, and his new tenant (and small business owner/yoga instructor) Gia. This book has it all: beer guzzling, brother punching, hilarious families, sweet toddler, steamy romance, sibling teasing, laugh-out-loud small town scenes and everything in between!

Gia is such a wonderful female lead. She is complex and has the perfect bland of being sweet, smart, hard working, stubborn and flighty! She is a fierce yoga instructor, but is here for eating fatty macaroni and cheese as well. Her two kids are an perfect addition to this story and bring their own piece of the story instead of merely being prop characters.

Beckett is also just great with his blend of smart, buttoned-up, lawyer vibes and his utterly sweet interactions with his own family as well as Gia and her kids. He is perfectly complex, sometimes idiotic, and always swoony.

I love a romance that can seamlessly blend complex life situations with sweet romance & steam, and not make the entire book feel too heavy. This book is so well done and you will fall in love, sigh, and swoon by the time you read the last page.
