This book is an incredible concept and an interesting read. At the same time, it is very sad. Its portrayal of human nature is bleak. It is not an optimist's view on people, which sometimes I found tough to read, but it really forced me to think about the world. The book is fascinating, and I did enjoy it, even though I cried through almost the whole thing. I would not consider this a "light read".
