Group: How One Therapist and a Circle of Strangers Saved My Life by Christie Tate

emotional funny reflective medium-paced

This was an engaging read, and like others have stated before, I would caution anyone who reads this as an introduction to therapy, namely group therapy. This is not how it typically goes and I have significant concerns about normalizing the blurring between the lines of confidentiality, intimacy, and the therapist-client relationship. That being said, this is Christie Tate's story and I'm glad she has gained what she has from her time in therapy.
