I'm giving this three stars because the author wrote it during her senior year in high school and it is a story that keeps you interested in what will happen next. I would like to think that this isn't really what high school is like for kids, but it reminded me of my high school years and so it probably is. I would say it is a strange combination of self-destructive lit see rapture for young women with a strong undery ok neck of sexual liberation. I haven't seen the movie, but I can't imagine that it is worth watching.
