obsession, aggression, transgression. female desire, sexuality, toxicity. this book is mental, weird, kinky, unpredictable, trippy. and yet i absolutely loved it.
the protagonist irina was, of course, not very likable, but rather painfully real. she portrays a female archetype people fear talking about, the aggressor and predator.
society still often overlooks crimes, especially sexual assault/harassment committed by women, simply because it's not 'expected', not the 'norm'. and this book criticises exactly that and i'm very much here for it. also liked the gore, the minor social commentary on other topics, the sheer shock of how unfiltered, provocative, beautiful and yet perverse the writing was.

obsessed w/ this book. the amount of time i spend thinking about it is insane and probably highly unhealthy. eddie from tesco's emails destroyed me.
