Ramsey, our morally grey hottie! You did not disappoint! Being released parole and realizing he is married brings him back to his small town and to Bull Rush Ranch. He left this with the wife when he left after a traumatic even. When he returns, it's addressed that him and his, who he thought was his ex-wife, Hazel, are still very much married. Oh, and she is engaged! Having the time Ramsey did in prison, he realizes he wants HIS wife back!
I have come to the realization that MAGGIE gives it all and will not disappoint. This book had plot, banter, spice and the "wait, what" surprised are EVERYTHING.
Hazel is fiercely independent and strong! She has so much strength and attitude and takes no from nobody! She was burned and hurt and continued to keep on moving. Ramsey, has been ran through the ringer but wants to fix what he lost. There was no way he was giving up what he wanted!
Hazel and Ramsey bicker like it's their job but it's actually their love language ;) The teasing, the push pull was hot! The angst was coming off the page. There was not one thing I didn't like about this. Maggie did a fantastic job of edging but the end was .. AMAZING!
