I had mixed emotions about this book!
It definitely is an emotional, deep and important book but it didn’t quite hit me the way that I expected it too!
I just didn’t connect to it or the characters as much as I was expecting especially because I was really intrigued by the mental health aspect and also the amount of people who have loved and cried to this book.
I could definitely see it being relatable and touching to some people but it didn’t quite live up to the same hype as I expected.
All that being said, I did still like the mental health / heavier topic aspect of the book because I think showing different experiences is so important. It’s also different than my normal reads which made it more unique in general for me.
I also thought the overall storyline was interesting and I was curious to see where it was going and what would happen to Charlie.
