This was a fun, easy read with some great banter and chemistry, but it definitely tried to do a lot—especially when it came to mental health themes. For a romantic comedy, it leaned heavier than I expected, and at times it felt like it was juggling too much. That said, I only read a few rom-coms a year and this was one of the better ones I’ve picked up. Not totally my usual vibe, but still enjoyable and well-written.
