This book wasn’t what I expected it to be. It’s a very slow burn rom-com with a lot of serial killer research. I thought it would be about someone falling for a serial killer but that wasn’t the case.
What I mean by that is, the MFC is doing research for her paper for a college course she is doing. Then she moves back into her old childhood home and she has a hot neighbor who she thinks could be a serial killer because he has been doing some suspicious things around his home.
The MMC is sweet and trying to figure out the MFC. He speaks with her a few times and falls for her. They both form a relationship that makes the MFC rethink about everything she thought she knew about loving someone. They do have a happy ending and all is good.
Even though this is a romance book there’s not many spicy senses. The author maybe goes into detail with one or two sex senses but honestly I can’t really remember. For that I’ll rate it a 1.5 spice pepper.
