I really like the Vampire Diaries. BUT I read the books before the TV-Show came out and I think that the TV-Show and the book have almost nothing in common. I mean I get it why the plot and some little things have to be changed in movies and TV-Shows BUT they could not even get the hair of Elena right on TV!!!
Oh...and I think that the vampire diaries is not the best book series by L.J. Smith, she wrote better ones for example Night World.
