bookishworm210 's review for:
Vision in White
by Nora Roberts
I read somewhere recently on the Interweb that this book was banned for profanity and sex. So naturally, I had to read it. :)
Spoiler alert - I don't know why it was in the banned book list as there is barely any profanity and very few very mediocre sex scenes, nothing even your grandmother would blush to read.
I've been a fan of Nora Roberts for years, but have never read anything so terrible by her! OMG, what the heck was this? I hated the main male character - he's written like a wimpy, clumsy, nerd and did absolutely nothing for me! At first he seemed kind of like he could be a cute nerd, but as the story went on, I just could not stand him - he is nothing like what I expect a male lead to be like in a romance novel - strong, hot, put together, doesn't take any sh*t from anyone!
The main female character was only a little better, but still had no depth.
The story really fell flat for me and didn't really read like there was any real plot/conflict/resolution. 2 stars only because I liked the friendship of the 4 gals and their wedding business. Rest of it is disappointing and sure does not make me want to read the other 3 books in this series!
