Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult

Did not finish book.

I felt uncomfortable reading this, so I checked reviews (on Goodreads before I got StoryGraph), paying particular attention to Black readers’ reviews. My concerns were validated - I think this book was an  unneeded write, honestly. It was full of stereotypes and tropes just in the first 50 pages. I didn’t want to spend time on such a thick book that I felt wouldn’t shed any meaningful light on issues of racism.
