I read this ages ago, so the details are a little fuzzy now, and I probably won’t be re-reading it. But I do remember loving it at the time and being super invested while I was reading. That said, I definitely preferred the Six of Crows duology—it just hit harder for me, with stronger characters and a more compelling story. Shadow and Bone was good, but Six of Crows was unforgettable.
