This was Not For Me.
I haven't read much middle grade, and this book was not written for me. The first few chapters were all about Aru worrying about what her rich bitchy friends think of her and lying to make a good impression. The humor is probably great if you are 12, but it also was Not For Me. I started this for a reading challenge but I'm letting myself tap out of this one.
