I picked this up from the library's graphic novel shelves since it looked interesting and the fact it was a middle grade memoir intrigued me.
It was fascinating, looking at the escapism that occurred for Tori whether because of her friends, her parents, school. It reminded me of me at that age. Middle school is the worst time, too many things happen, not to mention when major life changes happen as well.
Recommend for middle schoolers and their parents since it does deal with Tori's parents as well.
