I loved these books when I was a teenager. I think I read all six in a few weeks. Now I'm sincerely regretting re-reading them. They're awful! This one was so bad I didn't even finish it. The writing is so so bad and whilst the plot could easily be an interesting one the poor wording and constant repetition really detracts from it. If this book was half the length it might actually be relatively decent.
