omg I think I've found another new favourite romance novel????

★ dual pov
★ slow burn
★ enemies to lovers / hate (dislike) to love
★ workplace romance
★ opposites attract
★ European work trips
★ forced proximity
★ one bed
★ fade to black / closed door / clean romance
★ no third-act breakup!!

So we've got Ophelia Brooks: a moreso extroverted fashion journalist working at Atelier Today. She has a clear and strong passion for the fashion artform. (there's a particular scene where she gets to geek out about it which was such a joy to read!!)

Now Adam Abrams: an extreme sports photojournalist at Outdoorsy Magazine who's more on the introverted side of things. He's also potentially jumping into a big decision regarding his career. (I'd also like to note he had a beanie babies collection as a child. This is only mentioned in one line but it's a line I'm holding on to forever)

They both have quite notable journalism careers but Ophelia and Adam can hardly stand each other because of a disaster meet cute and already less-than-great presumptions about each other since Atelier Today & Outdoorsy Magazine have quite a natural feud being both from Hoffman Publishing.
The problem with this publisher right now? Mass layoffs. OOF. Yeah,, that's quite a problem. Good thing Ophelia has a plan, though to her dismay, her work trip plan has her partnering up with the infuriating Adam. Now they'll be stuck together for a week in Europe, where they can only hope everything goes as planned.

This was SUCH a fun read!!! The banter was spectacular and their chemistry was soo strong, it had me obsessed. The premise itself was really enjoyable, as were the characters themselves! They truly are lovable and their emotions are written phenomenally. You're really able to feel the depths that the characters have which I appreciate. Also, the dynamics between all of the characters (definitely thinking about Adam's family here!!),, CHEF'S KISS. So great to read.

The whole novel had me completely hooked but that last chapter had me reading as fast as possible from all the excitement and anticipation!! And that epilogue?? I'm not usually super crazy about them (don't get me wrong, I do like them being included, just that other parts of the book will always be more fun for me personally!) but the ending for this was literally the best thing ever omgg. If you know, you know haha. 💌 I probably would've audibly yelled if it hadn't been 3am lol. Such a perfect ending ♡♡♡

(ngl I think I desperately need an Adam Abrams for myself as well)

I can't recommend this enough. If this at all sounds like something you'd possibly be interested in, definitely pick it up and have a go with it. I'm looking forward to what Florence Fields writes next!!
