4.75/5 - My girl M. Monique did it again with this one. All of my components were included-black love, suspense, and comedy. This was a really great story that went into detail. I kind of figured out who was behind things but not to the full length.
Blu was definitely a book bae. His cockiness and aggressive nature was the turn on. His brother had the arrogance but Blu demeaned demanded attention or you feared you would get jacked up. Blu didn’t play but when that aggression turned into passion….whew!!! Passionate he was.
Jacoba was sweet and I liked her. She knew what she wanted. Blue screamed BDE and sis said she has to have it. I’m glad she was able to truly be at peace and get the happiness she deserved.
Quay was cool but I needed her to leave Sunny alone and all her negativity. She gave her too many chances in my opinion. But Jeremiah was the sweetest and I was happy she had her happily ever after.
As always I love family oriented stories where the family dynamics are felt. I could feel the love off the page.
I loved this story and definitely found a new favorite author.
