Die Again
by Tess Gerritsen
Hurrah! A new Rizzoli & Isles book! Although with the television adaptation the wait between books no longer feels so long I'm still more a fan of the books than the show - apart from Jane & Maura's friendship in the show, which seems much closer than in the books.
Anyway, this one is partly set in Boston, partly in Africa and partly in the past and though I don't normally enjoy books that leap all over the place I did like this one, until it was so obvious 'whodunnit' and the excitement of it got sucked out. I read Die Again in one sitting, about 4 hours, so I definitely enjoyed it but there was something missing that leads to a four star rating rather than my (pretty much) automatic five star rating for Tess Gerritsen.
