The Last American Vampire by Seth Grahame-Smith
4.0

This was like the Forest Gump of vampire stories... and I loved it. I always really enjoy a story that uses real life events and twists them to align with the fantastical.
The Last American Vampire is Henry's story starting after Abe's assassination
Spoilerand resurrection at Henry's hands!
. The story goes through out Henry's life as he plays an integral, although secret, part in many of the most important events of the last few centuries and as he meets with many other famous contemporaries such as
SpoilerBram Stoker, Jack the Ripper, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Mark Twain, Nikola Tesla, Rasputin, Teddy Rosevelt, FDR, JFK, Howard Hughes, and of course... an assassination plot to kill Hitler.

Seth Grahame-Smith brought back his signature tongue in cheek humor in this sequel to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. So fun, so gory. Very entertaining read. I recommend. :)
