Come, Tell Me How You Live by Agatha Christie

3.0

A mostly charming period piece about what daily life on an archaeological dig was like 90 years ago written by the most famous murder mystery author of all time. Some things are so different (servants?!) but some things like people getting sick from the food, and all the logistical difficulties involved in a dig still ring true nearly 100 years later. An insight into archaeology in a different time and of course into the way that British people viewed other peoples and cultures in the Middle East in the interwar period.
