Read this book in one evening. It’s been on my shelf for quite some time but hadn’t read it until now. Absolutely beautiful, haunting, and heartbreaking. 

Very much reads like a tragic fairytale from the past. Kind of reminds me of Hans Christen Anderson’s original version of The Little Mermaid.
