Girl, Woman, Other by Bernardine Evaristo

This is a really interesting insight into several lives of woman. The cultural differences and the things that these characters go through is heart wrenching, that someone can go through what they go through and expected to continue as if nothing has happened or having to keep it to the self because they don't think anyone will believe them.

This is an emotional book in parts but uplifting in others. It's empowering for under appreciated women. It's a real insight into something I can only feel sympathy for because I haven't faced some of the things, I can however have empathy for other parts because I too have grown up as an undervalued female in society and in some points in my life.

Fantastic writer and I would highly recommend this to anyone.
