I enjoyed the paranormal elements more than the actual mystery solving. Funny at times. It’s a good first book and I’ll be continuing. I think they’ll be good palate cleansers. 

Invested in the relationship. 

that twist at the end with Reyes totally got me! And elevated the whole book for me.
