A very good ending to a very good trilogy.
There are many little twists in this last book, and the bug threat that Ares is so afraid of, turns out to be something quite different than what I was expecting, and it was a very good plot point, as was the way the book ended, in my view.
I definitely appreciate the closure to Kate's life prior to all of this Atlantis Gene mess. You'll get what I mean when you read it, but the Epilogue is worth reading, for that reason.
I absolutely recommend this series. It's a pleasant take on the apocalyptic scenario. A fresh one I would say, from others I have read so far.
