Yang Paling Patah Antara Kita by Ainul Farihah
5.0
yang paling patah antara kita by ainul farihah is a bittersweet tale of a group of friends; azfar, firman, zaquan and jimi. exploring the topics of familial love, friendships, loyalty, and mental health, yang paling patah antara kita is guaranteed to patahkan hati you readers out there.
ainul farihah’s writing is so powerful that i can still feel my heart aching even now. mula-mula masa awal baca, teringat one of my favourite books of all time which were the gantung books by nadia khan, especially considering this is centred around a male group of friends. but it’s completely different than what i had expected. this one is more emotionally hitting. surprisingly, it reminded me of if we were villains and dead poets society! yang ni i cannot explain further so you guys definitely kena baca to know (hehe intrigued tak? hehehe)
sinopsis dia sangat simple and yet very intriguing and senang kata i read this blindly lah without knowing anything about the book and i bersyukur gila i baca this book that way because the thrill of it all is much more intense and sumpahlah i cakap even now my heart is still beating so fast from that climb up to the ending. i was also intrigued by the law proceedings in this book. jarang i baca anything that somewhat pictured a thing or two of our country’s court procedures and whatnot. i also respected the way the author cautiously approached the mental health topics in this book, as well as letting us know of the potential trigger warnings dekat depan sekali before you start baca. i simply love it when author reminds readers of the trigger warnings yang ada dalam buku tu before you proceed
