Did not finish book. Stopped at 42%.

i rode the crazy train as long as i could but at this point i finally reached my station (choo choo!)
things just got way too out of hand here and i was not enjoying myself at all anymore
the whole 'secret society ruling us all' nonsense was just so obnoxious and unrealistic and felt almost like lazy writing
the hazing was just so bad for Lyric and Melody continued to order her to do things that would fuck her life up more and she would just LISTEN and NOT QUESTION
i think that's what got me the most the fact that Lyric was just willing to continuously screw her life up without ever doubting her sister's instructions or considering the implications of her actions
i was hoping the action would die down and resolve in this but instead things just got amped further and further up and i cannot sit through any more of that
also Jude continued to treat Lyric worse and worse which i didn't even think possible and like. it's book 3 dude i can't figure out how you'd ever be made redeemable at this point
i kinda regretted getting as far as i did tbh
