Welcome to the Jungle by Jim Butcher

4.0

This was my first read in the Dresden series, and serves as my introduction. The book is funny and intersting, even if a little predictable. The art was average, but accessable and definatly eerie. I cant wait to read Storm Front, which I'm starting immediatly. Although Butcher said in his introduction that he always imagined Dresden as an animated series, I feel like the depth avaiable in books will only add to a readers investment in Dresden as a character. There were hints in this book, Dresden past relationship with his foster father and whoever that girl was, which I hope is told in the books. Did I mention Butcher quotes the A-Team? Awesome!
