The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

dark mysterious tense medium-paced

3.5

I think I may have over-hyped this one going into it. A lot of people had recommended to me as a really good thriller, and it definitely has its tense and discomforting moments, but it didn't give me the scary, psych ward spooks that I was looking for.

I've also gotten way too good at guessing twists because I called who it was about a third of the way through. So, that kind of ruined it for me.

All of that being said, I do get why people are so enamored with this book and I'd recommend it!
