I tried to eyeball read this and found it was too much of a slow-burn, so I put the audiobook on hold through my library.
The audiobook helped with the pacing, and I was much more engaged with the story and did enjoy the listening experience. I recommend the audiobook if you find yourself struggling with the pacing in the book.
I did struggle a bit with keeping the stories straight in the three different timelines, which is why I can't give this five stars. But I did listen to this in 24 hours because I wanted to know what happened.
