High Class Homos
by Momozerii
I really enjoyed High-Class Homos, but I had already expected as much. It is exactly my type of graphic novel. It has a lovely cast of characters, with different personalities and quirks. Each character has their own reveals and backstory, something that definitely added to the whole vibe of the book. I liked that not everything is revealed in volume 1, which makes me very curious and excited for volume two!
There are multiple storylines going on, which is giving the needed variation in tone while you read. The main storyline is about Prince August, who is gay, and Princess Sapphia, who is a lesbian, and their plans to get into a lavender marriage. The other storylines flow nicely with the main one, making it a very easy read. The tone is light hearted, with more than enough humorous lines that made me laugh out loud.
Have I already said that I ship some characters like crazy? Omg, it had me giggling and kicking my feet for real. I can't wait to see which ships sail and which one don't!
The art style is absolutely adorable. At first, I wasn't so sure what to think about it, because it felt a little square-ish. But after the first couple of panels, I was completely used to the art style and discovered it fit the story quite well.
Definitely a five star read for me!
