Last Battle of the Icemark by Stuart Hill

5.0

Great conclusion to an amazing trilogy. Thirrin and Oskan are highly entertaining to read about, and Oskan's struggled with the Dark throughout the book was nervewracking to read about. Again with the Vampires, I loved watching them develop throughout the entire series. The battles are well written, with enough military jargon to bring you into the battle itself without losing you in the lingo. And instead of riding zebras, there are triceratops! At least, that's what it sounded like. The deaths were appropriate if heart-wrenching, like any good death should be, but it doesn't mean I don't want to bring them back. Medea was a well written young woman and I liked reading about her interactions with the other characters as she develops. Fantastic conclusion, truly.
