Serving Pleasure by Alisha Rai

5.0

This a great story about self acceptance, love and healing. Micah and Rana are softies.

Rana: I think a lot people have done what Rana does which is try to fit the mold of what other people want. So much so they bury themself in some capacity to be acceptable and loved. Rai hits the nail on how self punishing and hateful this can be. You can feel how this shame is hurting Rana.

Micah: His kindness and empathy are a part of his hurt. How do you help someone when it's coming from care and concern? I think that's a harder task.

This series is a hit for me. I am putting this in the ether: I wish there was a book for Leena. I and other readers would read it no matter when it comes out.
